Layers over layers over layers. Each revealing the history of the prior. I wanted to evoke a sense of purity of truth. How it prevails and will emerge even if buried. And then, there it is.

When the harbor lights explode at dusk.

12” x 9” oil and cold wax on wood. Tons of texture and layers. Painted with my left hand after I had fractured my right wrist.
